Worship with Us

Someone once said that our hearts are restless until we find rest in God.  This sort of connection is what we are looking for in worship.  We seek to make personal and communal contact with the creator, redeemer, and sustainer of the universe.  Pretty amazing.

At FUMC we hope you can find space in which you are able to engage with God and the rest of us who are also seeking to connect.  As you can see below, each of the Sunday services has a slightly different feel, with distinctive ways of engaging God and one another.  You are welcome to join us at either time--or both!

Our Service Times

8 a.m.--Cross Worship Service

This service includes traditional hymns (played on an organ), a sermon that takes the Bible seriously, Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month, a time for children, and the sanctuary choir two Sundays each month.

10:30 a.m.--Flame Worship Service

This service includes some more recently composed music (with piano and guitar accompaniment), a sermon that takes the Bible seriously and looks to engage the congregation, Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month, a time for children (along with children's worship during the sermon), time for prayer at the prayer station, and the sanctuary choir two Sundays each month.
