Worship with Us

Someone once said that our hearts are restless until we find rest in God. This sort of connection is what we are looking for in worship. We seek to make personal and communal contact with the creator, redeemer, and sustainer of the universe. Pretty amazing.

At FUMC we hope you can find space in which you are able to engage with God and the rest of us who are also seeking to connect. Child care is provided on Sunday mornings, and you should also feel free to keep your kids with you in the sanctuary. We love kids.

Worship in January

"It is God's will."

What does it mean when someone says that? How do they know?

In January, we will explore what we mean and what we hope we mean when we speak of God's will. It is no small thing to discern what God wants at any given time. Whether we want to know if this is the right person to marry, the right job to take, or if we just want the light to change, it would be awfully helpful to know how God makes up God's mind. Not only that, we want to know if we can change God's mind, or if mind-changing only goes one way.
